THE POWER OF SPIRITUAL HUNGER AND SPIRITUAL THIRST (Part Three)

Psalms 63

"O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water."

Your hunger and thirst will also reveal your purpose and your ambition in life. People aspire or expect something in life. That drives them and conditions their life. Imagine a deer panting for water, it will give everything just to have a drop.

In this last days, there is a hunger or a thirst that God generates in the heart of men. People are moving here there looking for something. What are they looking for? Many do not even know what is needful and expedient for them, the Word of God and the presence of God. In His presence, there is fullness of joy and life forevermore.

Amos 8:11-12 says,

""Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord God, "That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the Lord. [12] They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord, But shall not find it.""

With all the preachings and teachings that we have around. With the technology and internet. Why are people still running here and there? Because they have not found God's true word that will effectively satisfy them. 

See what David said in Psalms 63:

"O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. 2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory. 3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. 4 Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. 5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips."

When one finds God and receives the true word of God, verse 5 be comes true, 

"My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips."

May you find the true word of God and may your soul be satisfied. God refills our spirit and refreshes our souls. God restores our souls. He does not just repairs it, he restores. It is not time that heals the wounds of the heart, God heals. Jesus Christ is the healer of broken hearts. Are you hungry for something that you are not finding?

The Samaritan woman moved from one husband to the other until she met Christ.

Zaccheus and the young rich man were accumulating money but never felt fulfilled. Zaccheus met Christ, yielded to him and was satisfied. The young rich clinged to his riches and went back sad and still hungry and thirsty because he refuse to yield. Will you yield to Jesus Christ completely? This is not for lost sinners, but for believers who are still holding to parts of their lives. Therefore they are still unsatisfied. Surrender all to him and you will find everlasting peace and joy.

LA PUISSANCE DE LA FAIM ET DE LA SOIF SPIRITUELLES (Troisième Partie)

 Psaumes 63

« Ô Dieu, tu es mon Dieu ; je te cherche dès le matin ; mon âme a soif de toi, ma chair soupire après toi dans une terre aride, sans eau. »

Votre faim et votre soif révéleront également votre but et votre ambition dans la vie. Les gens aspirent ou s'attendent à quelque chose dans la vie. Cela les motive et conditionne leur vie. Imaginez un cerf haletant après de l'eau ; il donnerait tout pour en avoir une goutte. 

En ces derniers jours, Dieu suscite une faim ou une soif dans le cœur des hommes. Les gens se déplacent ici et là, à la recherche de quelque chose. Que cherchent-ils ? Beaucoup ne savent même pas ce qui leur est nécessaire et opportun : la Parole de Dieu et la présence de Dieu. En sa présence, il y a une plénitude de joie et de vie éternelle. 

Amos 8:11-12 dit : 

« Voici, les jours viennent », dit le Seigneur Dieu, « où j’enverrai la famine sur le pays, non pas la faim du pain, ni la soif de l’eau, mais la faim et la soif d’entendre les paroles de l’Éternel. [12] Ils erreront d’une mer à l’autre, et du nord à l’orient ; ils courront çà et là, cherchant la parole de l’Éternel, mais ils ne la trouveront pas. »

Avec toutes les prédications et tous les enseignements qui nous entourent, avec la technologie et l'Internet, pourquoi les gens continuent-ils à courir çà et là ? Parce qu’ils n’ont pas trouvé la véritable parole de Dieu qui les satisfera pleinement.

Voyez ce que David a dit dans le Psaume 63 : 

« Ô Dieu, tu es mon Dieu ! Je te cherche dès le matin ; mon âme a soif de toi, ma chair soupire après toi, dans une terre aride et desséchée, sans eau. 2 C’est pourquoi je te cherche dans le sanctuaire, pour voir ta puissance et ta gloire. 3 Car ta bonté vaut mieux que la vie ; mes lèvres te loueront. 4 Ainsi je te bénirai tant que je vivrai ; j’élèverai mes mains en ton nom. 5 Mon âme sera rassasiée comme de moelle et de graisse, et ma bouche te louera avec des cris de joie. »

Lorsqu’on trouve Dieu et qu’on reçoit la vraie parole de Dieu, le verset 5 se réalise : 

« Mon âme sera rassasiée comme de moelle et de graisse, et ma bouche te louera avec des cris de joie. »"

Puisses-tu trouver la vraie parole de Dieu et que ton âme soit satisfaite. 

Dieu remplit notre esprit et rafraîchit nos âmes. Dieu restaure nos âmes. Il ne se contente pas de réparer, il restaure. Ce n'est pas le temps qui guérit les blessures du cœur, c'est Dieu qui les guérit. Jésus-Christ est le guérisseur des cœurs brisés. Avez-vous soif de quelque chose que vous ne trouvez pas ?

La Samaritaine a changé des maris jusqu'à sa rencontre avec le Christ. Zachée et le jeune homme riche accumulaient de l'argent, mais ne se sentaient jamais épanouis. Zachée a rencontré le Christ, s'est soumis à lui et a été satisfait. Le jeune riche s'est accroché à ses richesses et est reparti triste, toujours affamé et assoiffé, car il refusait de céder. Voulez-vous vous abandonner complètement à Jésus-Christ ? Ceci ne s'adresse pas aux pécheurs perdus, mais aux croyants qui s'accrochent encore à certaines parties de leur vie. C'est pourquoi ils sont encore insatisfaits. Abandonnez-lui tout et vous trouverez la paix et la joie éternelles. Alléluia !
