Living in the Realities of God’s Kingdom (Part Four)

Matthew 6:10 NKJV

“Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.”

We established yesterday that our God lives, operates and reigns from heaven. His will is perfect and forever established there. Our duty is to allow God use us to establish His kingdom in us and expand it through us on the earth; thereby bringing on earth the realities of His kingdom on earth.

Just think of it? Jesus taught the disciples to pray like this, “Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."

So, there are things established in heaven that through prayers we can materialize them on the earth. Another duty of believers should be to find out, Who and what am I in heaven? What has heaven decided about me, my family and my nations? And that is where studying the word and prayer come in. 

For what we know, prayer is seeking the fulfillment of God’s will and promises in our lives. (Jeremiah 29:11-13, Jeremiah 33:3).

Let me come back on this truth that may be difficult for many to grasp or bear: on earth, it is not only and always the will of God that reigns. We saw three wills in conflicting on the earth. Man’s will, Satan’s will and God’s will. Ultimately in the end, God’s will will prevail in that His kingdom will be established on earth, (Revelations 11:15). 

Because God’s kingdom is higher and God is Omnipotent. But you will bear with that there are things that are done and that happens that are not the will of God. Either man or Satan is responsible: immorality, abortions, divorce, occultism witchcraft, sickness, accident, natural disasters, wars, etc. Do these happen on earth? Are they God’s will? If they were, why do we pray against them and seek to solve them. We should have just accepted them and allow them to happen. Some people will say, it is the permissible will of God. Well the truth is this, Psalms 115:16: 

“The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men.”

Man was was given dominion on the earth. He was the reflection and ambassador of God on earth. When he obeyed Satan, Satan took over and now dictates his own will in and through those who have not submitted to God. 

That’s why, Jesus instructed the disciples to demand that God’s will be done. 

Friend, it is not automatic that you live in the will of God or that you live in the realities of God’s kingdom for your life. You have to seek the face of God, try to understand His will for your life and operate it in the earth. Take time out in a retreat and fasting program, wrestle with God; “Father, what is your will for me? What is your agenda for my destiny?”

The life and ministry of Jesus Christ are clear examples that we can operate the perfect will of God on earth and thereby expanding His kingdom. Jesus also prayed and said in Matthew‬ ‭26‬:‭ 39‬, ‭42‬ ‭(NKJV)‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬: “…. O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”… Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.””

So, Jesus let go His own will and accepted or yielded to the will of the Father. Our duty as citizens of heaven, is to also pray and seek to operate the will of God.

And we know that Jesus Christ did nothing out of the will of God (John 5:19, 30-31). One could say and rightfully so, that His prayer time was consecrated to seeking the will of God for His life and ministry; seeking what God had already dertmined in heaven to be done on earth. His prayer time was to bring the realities of the kingdom on earth. 

May you understand this and operate in that same frequency.

« Que ton règne vienne. Que ta volonté soit faite sur la terre comme au ciel. »

Nous avons établi hier que notre Dieu vit, opère et règne depuis le ciel. Sa volonté est parfaite et y est établie pour toujours. Notre devoir est de permettre à Dieu de nous utiliser pour établir Son royaume en nous et l’étendre à travers nous sur la terre ; apportant ainsi sur terre les réalités de Son royaume.

Pensez-y simplement ? Jésus a enseigné aux disciples à prier de cette manière, 

« Que ton règne vienne, que ta volonté soit faite sur la terre comme au ciel. »

Donc, il y a des choses établies dans le ciel que par les prières nous pouvons matérialiser sur la terre. 

Un autre devoir des croyants devrait être de découvrir, Qui et que suis-je dans le ciel ? Qu’est-ce que le ciel a décidé pour moi, ma famille et ma nation ? Et c’est là que l’étude de la parole et de la prière entrent en jeu. 

Pour ce que nous savons, la prière c’est de chercher l’accomplissement de la volonté et des promesses de Dieu dans notre vie (Jérémie 29:11-13, Jérémie 33:3).

Permettez-moi de revenir sur cette vérité qui peut être difficile à saisir ou à supporter pour beaucoup : sur terre, ce n’est pas seulement et toujours la volonté de Dieu qui règne. Nous avons vu trois volontés en conflit sur la terre. La volonté de l’homme, la volonté de Satan et la volonté de Dieu. Finalement, à la fin, la volonté de Dieu prévaudra en ce que son royaume sera établi sur terre (Apocalypse 11:15),

parce que le royaume de Dieu est plus élevé et Dieu est omnipotent. Mais tu conviendras avec moi, qu’il y a des choses qui sont faites et qui arrivent sur la terre qui ne sont pas la volonté de Dieu. Soit l’homme, soit Satan est responsable : immoralité, avortements, divorce, sorcellerie occultistique, maladie, accident, catastrophes naturelles, guerres, etc. Cela se produit-il sur la terre ? Sont-ils la volonté de Dieu ? S’ils l’étaient, pourquoi prions-nous contre cela et cherchons-nous à les résoudre. Nous aurions simplement dû les accepter et leur permettre de se produire. 

Certaines personnes diront, c’est la volonté permissive de Dieu. Eh bien, la vérité est celle-ci, Psaumes 115:16 : 

« Les cieux, oui, les cieux, appartiennent à l’Éternel ; mais la terre, il l’a donnée aux enfants des hommes. »

L’homme a reçu la domination sur la terre. Il était le reflet et l’ambassadeur de Dieu sur la terre. Quand il a obéi à Satan, Satan a pris le contrôle et dicte maintenant sa propre volonté dans et par ceux qui ne se sont pas soumis à Dieu. 

C’est pourquoi, Jésus a instruit les disciples d’exiger que la volonté de Dieu soit faite. 

Ami, il n’est pas automatique que vous viviez dans la volonté de Dieu ou que vous viviez dans les réalités du royaume de Dieu pour votre vie. Vous devez chercher la face de Dieu, essayer de comprendre sa volonté pour votre vie et l’opérer sur la terre. Prenez du temps dans une retraite et un programme de jeûne, “luttez avec Dieu” ; « Père, quelle est ta volonté pour moi ? Quel est ton plan pour mon destin ? »

La vie et le ministère de Jésus-Christ sont des exemples clairs que nous pouvons faire fonctionner la volonté parfaite de Dieu sur terre et ainsi étendre Son royaume. Jésus a également prié et dit dans Matthieu 26 : 39, 42 (NKJV) :

“.... Ô Mon Père, si c’est possible, que cette coupe s’éloigne de Moi ; néanmoins, non pas comme Je le veux, mais comme Tu le veux.”... Encore une fois, une deuxième fois, il s’en alla et priait, disant : « Ô mon Père, si cette coupe ne peut pas passer sans que je la boive, que ta volonté soit faite. »

Ainsi, Jésus a laissé aller sa propre volonté et a accepté ou cédé à la volonté du Père. Notre devoir en tant que citoyens du ciel est également de prier et de chercher à faire la volonté de Dieu. 

Et nous savons que Jésus-Christ n’a rien fait de la volonté de Dieu (Jean 5:19, 30-31). On pourrait dire et à juste titre, que son temps de prière était consacré à la recherche de la volonté de Dieu pour sa vie et son ministère ; cherchant ce que Dieu avait déjà laissé faire dans les cieux sur terre. Son temps de prière était d’apporter les réalités du royaume sur terre. 

Puissiez-vous comprendre cela et fonctionner dans cette même fréquence.
