Engage the Warfare from a Victory Position 

Revelation‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

”And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die”

There is a real spiritual battle going on in this world. To ignore it is to sign in for defeat. Believers must be conscious of the stake of the ongoing battle and who the enemy is and be prepared to fight. 

John the apostle, on the Island of Patmos received a clear revelation of who the enemy is. 

”So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” (Revelation‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) 

The battle started in heaven. Can you imagine that? Yes, ”Then there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels. And the dragon lost the battle, and he and his angels were forced out of heaven.” (Revelation‬ ‭12‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Satan and a host of other angels lost their position in heaven and were cast down to the earth. The battle field is the earth. Many of the evils, wickedness and destructions we see around are directly orchestrated by Satan or his demons. Though some are results of human irresponsibility and negligence. Satan is truly at work in the world. ”But terror will come on the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you in great anger, knowing that he has little time.” (Revelation‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬bNLT‬‬). Do you see that? His number one strategy is deceptions. He thrives on the ignorance of men to operate his mischieves. But we need not to fear, rather arm ourselves with God’s word because Jesus has already won the battle His own. We fight from a victory position, enforcing what Christ has already wrought for us. See this:

”…But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭8b NLT‬‬)

Look at this other passage: ”On the cross, Christ took away the power of the bad spirits that have authority to rule people. He showed clearly that he himself has won against them. Now everyone can see that those bad spirits have no power." ‭‭(Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬ ‭EASY‬)

The only power Satan had over people is their rebellion or disobedience to God’s word. Once the problem of sin was handled, Satan lose his power. 

Again in Hebrews 2:14, 

”Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death.”

So friend, you have the victory over sin and over Satan. Stand firm in that victory. All you have to do is to maintain a good testimony in the Lord. Satan will have no power over you. We overcame him through the blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimonies, hallelujah!!! 

Prayer: 

Father, thank you for the victory you have given me over sins and over all the works of Satan through blood of the Lamb. I confess that I am an overcomer and a winner in Jesus name!

Apocalypse ‬12‬:‭11‬ NLT‬‬

"Et ils l’ont vaincu par le sang de l’Agneau et par leur témoignage. Et ils n’aimaient pas tellement leur vie au point d’avoir peur de mourir”

Il y a une véritable bataille spirituelle en cours dans ce monde. Ignorer cela, c’est signer pour la défaite. Les croyants doivent être conscients de l’enjeu de la bataille en cours et de qui est l’ennemi, et être prêts à se battre. 

Jean l’apôtre, sur l’île de Patmos a reçu une révélation claire de qui est l’ennemi. 

”Alors le grand dragon fut chassé, ce serpent d’autrefois, appelé le diable et Satan, qui trompe le monde entier ; il fut jeté sur la terre, et ses anges furent chassés avec lui.” (Apocalypse‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ NKJV‬‬) 

La bataille a commencé au ciel. Pouvez-vous imaginer cela ? Oui, ”Ensuite, il y a eu la guerre au ciel. Michel et ses anges ont combattu contre le dragon et ses anges. Et le dragon a perdu la bataille, et lui et ses anges ont été chassés du ciel.” (Apocalypse ‬12‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Satan et une foule d’autres anges ont perdu leur position dans le ciel et ont été précipités sur la terre. Le champ de bataille, c’est la terre. Beaucoup des maux, des méchancetés et des destructions que nous voyons autour de nous sont directement orchestrés par Satan ou ses démons. Bien que certains soient des résultats de l’irresponsabilité et de la négligence humaines, Satan est vraiment à l’œuvre dans le monde. "Mais la terreur viendra sur la terre et sur la mer, car le diable est descendu vers vous dans une grande colère, sachant qu’il a peu de temps." (Révélation‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬bNLT‬). Le voyez-vous ? 

Sa stratégie numéro un, ce sont des tromperies. Il s’épanouit dans l’ignorance des hommes pour opérer ses méfaits. Mais nous n’avons pas besoin d’avoir peur, nous devons plutôt nous armer de la parole de Dieu parce que Jésus a déjà gagné la bataille. Nous combattons à partir d’une position de victoire, en imposant ce que le Christ a déjà accompli pour nous. Voyez ceci :

"...*Mais le Fils de Dieu est venu pour détruire les œuvres du diable." (1 Jean 3:8b) 

Regardez cet autre passage : ”Sur la croix, Christ a enlevé la puissance des mauvais esprits qui avaient autorité pour gouverner les gens. Il a clairement montré qu’il avait lui-même gagné contre eux. Maintenant, tout le monde peut voir que ces mauvais esprits n’ont aucun pouvoir.” ‭‭(Colossiens‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬ FACILE‭)

Le seul pouvoir que Satan avait sur les gens est leur rébellion ou leur désobéissance à la parole de Dieu. Une fois le problème du péché résolu, Satan perd son pouvoir. Encore dans Hébreux 2:14, 

”Parce que les enfants de Dieu sont des êtres humains—faits de chair et de sang—le Fils est aussi devenu chair et sang. Car ce n’est qu’en tant qu’être humain qu’il pouvait mourir, et ce n’est qu’en mourant qu’il a pu briser le pouvoir du diable, qui avait le pouvoir de la mort.”

Alors, mon ami, tu as la victoire sur le péché et sur Satan. Reste ferme dans cette victoire. Tout ce que tu as à faire est de maintenir un bon témoignage dans le Seigneur. Satan n’aura aucun pouvoir sur vous. Nous l’avons vaincu par le sang de l’Agneau et les paroles de notre témoignage, alléluia !!! 

Prière : 

Père, merci pour la victoire que tu m’as donnée sur les péchés et sur toutes les œuvres de Satan par le sang de l’Agneau. Je confesse que je suis un vainqueur et un gagnant au nom de Jésus !
